Rue Oberkampf

German trio Rue Oberkampf has been a favourite of mine ever since I discovered their debut album from 2019. Now they’ve finally unveiled the follow-up Liebe. The new album came out on Young and Cold last week and was promoted with a video for “Hope and Fear”. The 8 tracks on Liebe once again show an expertly crafted symbiosis of minimal wave and early 80s coldwave with a more modern techno sound.
