Gyrate is a new band from Sydney, who are obviously influenced by Pylon, but with inspirations stretching a lot further – from KBD to lo-fi hardcore. Last year in November they released their first EP, Den of Vice. That 4-track explosion firmly cemented them as one of the best groups in Australia at the moment, next to perhaps Optic Nerve. Last week they unleashed a new single, called “Beneath Me”. This one is full of murky guitars covered in wet blankets and cheap drum machine sounds.
