The self-titled tape by The Cop Killers is a “true holy grail of Italian post-industrial music” if you’re to trust Ecstatic Records – the UK label run by Italian artist Not Waving. Having put together a sampler of legendary Italian label Trax (initiated by Vittorio Baroni), which included a track by The Cop Killers they decided to reissue the 1982 tape on vinyl. The project was conceived by Baroni with collaborators Daniele Ciullini and Mark A. Phillips and plays like the soundtrack to a long-forgotten cyberpunk b-movie.
