Paula was the project of David Carriere from Montreal, who simultaneously formed the hugely successful pop group TOPS. The album Relaxed Fit came in 2011, just a year before the debut from TOPS, on the local label Arbutus. Now, more than ten years later it is finally getting a vinyl release through Drag City. The 10-track LP is available in a few weeks but you can still download it for free via bandcamp. Carriere has continued making music solo as DVC Refreshments and his latest offering was the single “Rock n Roll” from last year.
