We wrote about Mothermary last summer – the new sensational duo on Italians Do It Better. Unlike some of the label’s roster, they truly transcend the production by label owner Johnny Jewel. I Am Your God is the result of a singular (or twin, if you like) artistic vision as proven by the latest single and title-track “I Am Your God”. Other than that, the debut LP also includes 6 older tracks including their Madonna cover from the tribute compilation that appeared last year. Except for a few short instrumentals there are two new tracks: “Burn With Desire” and “Wearing Me Thin”.
