I can’t for the life of me remember how I first heard about Güner Künier and her minimal wave inspired EP Flexel that came out on Berlin label Mommys Mistakes last month. Güner Künier is also from Berlin and did a release show together with Cosey Mueller (Das Das). The EP contains 5 tracks that range from stripped-down to a fuzzy post-punk sound. Definitely one of the best records in this style to appear in 2021.
