A record that is already out on Static Shock (since a couple of weeks back) is the debut 12″ from Ataque Zerø. They’re based in Bogota but include Venezuelan, Colombian and French musicians who have previously played in other great punk and hardcore groups like Muro and Dernier Futur. The five songs on this EP are a bit more melodic, leaning into early 80s post-punk in a similar style to Hüsker Dü. All of the songs on this self-titled release are brilliant.
