Paid By Rock is a new tape compilation from the masterminds at Girlsville, Portland. It’s the follow-up to the celebrated benefit comp Be Gay, Do Crime from last year (which just got a vinyl release too). It was put together in early 2021 during pandemic isolation and includes 14 tracks including a Lithics demo, a Primitives cover from the great Star Party, as well as music by Blues Lawyer, Germ House and The Maxines. Essential listening – there was even a lathe cut version, but the 5 copies are long gone.
