We recently mentioned the now-defunct Melbourne group Chrome Dome in relation to new project Laughing Gear, but former member Andrea Blake now also has a new record on the way. Together with Jenny Branagan who used to play in the great NUN, the two of them make up Vacuum – a project on the borders of punk and electronic that has been kicking around the live circuit for years. Now they’re finally releasing their debut album via Heavy Machinery and It Records. The first single “Dredd” is streaming now, a track that was previously released in a live version by It way back in 2016.
