My Mine was an italo disco trio comprising Stefano Micheli, Carlo Malatesta and Danilo Rosati. They formed in 1982, originally playing post-punk but quickly changed to a more synthesizer-based setup. “Hypnotic Tango” came out on Progress Record the next year and become a hit in both Europe and the US. The group stayed together for two albums (however with a different vocalist) but failed to break. Dark Entries reissued the 12″ in 2018, including the Frankie Knuckles remix.
