RECORD TURNOVER 80s HITS #105
Eleven Pond were a four-piece post-punk/synth-pop from Rochester comprising James Tabbi, Jeff Gallea, Jack Schaeffer and Dan Brumley. They released their sole album Bas Relief in 1986, which has become something of a classic. It came out on their own label Game Hen in a tiny pressing but was eventually reissued by Dark Entries in 2010.
In 2012 the British label Angular also released “Watching Trees” from their album on a 12″, along with the demo version. The following year Dark Entries also released the compilation Assemblage that consists of unreleased tracks and demos from 1987 (including “Watching Trees”).
