I fondly remember the gig Xeno & Oaklander did in Malmö before the pandemic. The minimal synth duo from Brooklyn had just released Hypnos on Dais (funnily enough there’s a micro-cinema across the street from the venue called Hypnos). Liz Wendelbo and Sean McBride have recorded a new LP during the pandemic, from their home studio in Connecticut. Vi/deo is their seventh album and is coming out on the same label next month. Two of the 8 tracks have been released as singles so far, sounding every but is as great as usual.
