Loveshadow is a new group from San Francisco, who originally met in Oakland. Anya and Izaak both worked in a cafe and discovered a mutual love for the disco group Aurra. A few years later their self-titled debut album is coming out the Dutch label Music From Memory. It includes 8 tracks (plus a digital bonus) that take all the best parts of italo disco and combine it with relaxed funk and smooth 80s pop. It came out in June and would have been a total summer jam had I only heard it a bit earlier.
