Koma is new hardcore group based in Leeds and London who are finally releasing their first album Internment Failure in September. Signed to London label La vida es un mus, they’ve only been around for a year but managed to record these 12 scintillating tracks between cities. With influences from both the Swedish and Finnish scenes as well as darker goth sounds, they have a dense sound with powerful female vocals buried halfway into the mix. It’s the sound of the constant “desperation of living in the final generations of a failed state”.
