Girlcast is a new label based in Munich that is a “space for female techno artists only”. Yesterday they released their first compilation VA001, which features tracks from personal favourites like Landi (of Scuderia), Allison Trench (TSA Records), Gräfin and Paralich (Dead End). Eklose from France was a nice discovery – one of the members of Rennes-based collective Elemento, which is also dedicated to female artists.
