Womb is a trio from Wellington, New Zealand who put out an album back in 2018. Last year they cut two self-released singles that carried on their legacy of dreampop inspired by Galaxie 500 and Tamaryn. After signing to Flying Nun, they have shared a new EP called Holding a Flame containing three songs. Fans of Purple Pilgrims will probably like the stripped-down sound of e.g. “Mercury”.
