London legends Saint Etienne will be releasing their 10th album (and first in 4 years) next month. It’s three decades since they first started out and on their new single “Pond Life”, the group have returned to using more samples. Sarah Cracknell says that I’ve Been Trying to Tell You is “the first sample-driven album we’ve made since So Tough and it’s been a really refreshing experience. They’ve also collaborated with television composer Gus Bousfield on several of these 9 new tracks.
