The Belair Lip Bombs is a Melbourne pop-punk group that I’ve been a fan of for a while. Their new single “Out of Here” is out today, sounding positively summery despite Australia being in the depths of winter. Like their 2019 EP Songs to Do Your Laundry to it’s a winning combination of post-punk guitars, perky rhythms and a carefree attitude. The four-piece is headed by singer and guitar player Maisie Everett, who also plays bass in Clamm. Sometimes slightly reminiscent of Bloods, these players like their hooks big.
