Blonde Revolver is a Melbourne group that started as a side project for members of other bands like Future Suck and Gutter Girls. Actually they were a Blondie covers band for one night but found that their chemistry called for a more permanent arrangement. With Zoe Mulcahy (Body Maintenance, Moth, Alien Nose Job) on lead vocals, the six-piece have yet to nail their sound on record but they’re already dripping with attitude on debut single “Ruby Red”. It’s the first taste of their self-titled EP that’s coming out on new label Rack Off Records next month.
