Back in February we hinted that Deux Filles had some new music on the way – now it’s here. The fictional 80s duo of Claudine Coule and Gemini Forque, who turned out to be none other than Simon Fisher Turner and Colin Lloyd Tucker, have recorded a new album called Shadow Farming. The 18-track album is out on gatefold vinyl from London label Glass Modern as of a few days ago. It’s a beautiful ambient album with faint echoes of pop and folk, in a filmic sound that is no doubt informed by Fisher Turner’s extensive soundtrack work.
