Bandit Voyage is a duo from Geneva who sound like they were made for the Bongo Joe label, who have their store in the same city, but they got signed by French label Entreprise instead. The project started as lofi home recordings by Robini Girodi and Anissa Cadelli. But for their new album Amour sur le disque they have evolved their sound considerably, even landing a guest appearance from Lee Scratch Perry. Lead single “Ma mère” is influenced by Turkish disco and “Amour sur le beat” is a no wave disco party waiting to happen. They’ve released the first half of the album as an EP and the LP is out in September.
