Luz de gas is a hardcore punk group from Chile with three musicians on guitar, drums and bass supporting vocalist Muriel. They released their first tape back in January on the local label Junko, but it’s now getting a US release on Iron Lung with 200 copies available. This self-titled EP only consists of 7 tracks but it begs pushing the repeat button. Sure, it’s a demo-quality recording, but the energy of the band really shines through.
