DJ Big Guns is, along with Beverly Hill$, one of the most interesting producers from Sydney at the moment. They released a few tracks on bandcamp last year and have appeared on compilations from e.g. Clan Destine, Low Income Squad and Morph. Self Diagnosis, released by Puppy Tapes last month is the first solo release as far as I can tell and it’s glorious. “Celestial Rimshot” by itself is worth your money – all experimental techno at an exhilarating pace. Industrial Coast in the UK should have a few copies, cause it’s sold out at source. Big Guns has also contributed a track to the new compilation on Voight-Kampff.
