Human Trophy’s Corpse Dream is Reuben Sawyer’s (The Column, Hollow Sunshine, Anytime Cowboy) attempt at making a dark post-punk album and I must say he knows what he’s doing on these 10 blown-out tracks. Sure, it’s lo-fi and the drum sound is thin, but there’s enough interesting guitar lines coursing through it to keep my interest up throughout. The album was released a couple of months ago on UK punk label Drunken Sailor.
