Sestra is a new sister label of French label Synth Religion, focused more on techno. It was launched early this year with a various artist 12″ simply called Volume 1 and that included tracks from e.g. Cassie Raptor, Caravel, Samantha Togni and Imchaoes (who is Amandine of Minuit Machine and a mainstay of Synth Religion). Volume 2 came out on marbled vinyl last month and holds another 6 tracks of hard-hitting dancefloor action. There’s a new one from madwoman here, as well as Sylvie Maziarz (also from Berlin). Substencia and Indecent Gestures make up the Paris contingent with flair.
