Been meaning to write about Ukranian producer Distortion for a while, especially since their recent mini-album for Hyperdome is most excellent. Hyperdome is a new Scottish label who call themselves “your friendly local lekky dealer”, which I really enjoyed. Electro Race that came out in February is only their third release but is packed with 7 tracks of some of the best electro around just now. I can’t get enough of the menacing “Dead Fish” for once, which has an authentic 90s sound. The Kiev-based artist followed up with another EP called Jungles on the Odessa label Utro, and there’s a new one on the way from Diffuse Reality as well.
