DJ Beverly Hill$ is the obnoxious name you’ll keep coming across if you are into hard techno and trance. Two years ago he released a tape on Chicago label Puppy and last year the self-released Aural Assimilation cd followed, receiving quite a lot attention and deservedly so. The Australian producer, whose based in Sydney, now returns to Puppy with a rare (for the label) 10″ vinyl release. 2 Problems consists of the two tracks “Speed Problem” and “Acid Problem”, the titles of which pretty much speak for themselves. I was lucky enough to secure a copy through Industrial Coast, which is the only distributor this side of the Atlantic.
