Daniel Crook from Los Angles has been making experimental, shall we say goth house (?), for few years – releasing the excellent tape A Model For the Coping on Jungle Gym a couple of years ago. Last year he appeared on the first compilation from the amazing L.A.U.R.A. label and now he has a new album out called Identity Grief. After a previous excursion into coldwave, the new album nods to both The Cure and New Order with a couple of moody pop songs.
