Markus is a trio from Münich playing dissonant post-punk inspired by Au Pairs and Kleenex. They’ve just released a new EP along with a video for the track “Insécurité”. Sounding very much like their Berlin compatriots in groups like Liiek, these six songs are short and anything but sweet. Markus Beger, Markus Burnuthian and Markus Will who make up the group, recorded these tunes back in 2019, pre-pandemic, and they’re out via the excellent label Späti Palace since a couple of days ago.
