SOS Colombia is a benefit compilation released by Berlin label Inherencia a few days ago. This one is subtitled Part I: Against the violation of Human Rights, so hopefully there will be more volumes soon. If you don’t know, Colombia has been in state of crisis for more two weeks with police killing dozens of protesters. To quote the label: “SOS Colombia is a fist up, a cry that today becomes a collective action of musicians and visual artists presented in a compilation of techno and experimental music and also short documentaries that will expose to the world how an extreme right-wing government massacres and silences its people.” Among the artists you’ll find South Americans like Lokier and Common Poetry, side by side with Europeans (Crystal Geometry, Ana Gartner, SNTS etc).
