Following their 5-year anniversary compilation, Bongo Joe have another great compilation ready for release in a few weeks. Club Coco is a compilation of outernational Latin and afro-rooted music from contemporary bands and artists. It was curated by Mexican DJ and artist Coco Maria, who also appears on the compilation with her own track “Me veo volar”. Coco Maria has a regular show on Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide FM radio station, also called Club Coco, and the 11 tracks here will give you an introductory taste of her universe. Among the artists you’ll find Nicola Mauskovic from Amsterdam (where Coco Maria is currently also residing), La Redada from Mexico, La Perla from Colombia and Malphino from London.
