Maud Geffray is one half of French coldwave duo Scratch Massive, but has also been making music solo since at least 2015. Geffray released her latest EP on Warriorecords in January of this year. The three tracks on Free Fall are a pleasant mix of synth-pop, italo and early EBM. They range from the beat-heavy “Firebird” to the huge soundscape of “Moonshine”. The latter almost feels like a lost euro dance hit.
