Perse is the duo of Marco Milanesio (DsorDNE, 9cento9) and Emiliana Voltarel (Braconidae) from Italy. They have just debuted with a cassette on new Lyon-based label Bamboo Shows. On Exile In H, Perse present a staggering array of sounds by putting together field recordings, spoken word and lush synthesizer landscapes. The overall mood is dark and metallic, sometimes even industrial as on the instrumental “Sin”. The mini-album was recorded in Torino and came out at the beginning of April.
