Industrial Coast is a Yorkshire cassette label and distro that I found due to the fact that they’re the only distributor for Chicago Research in Europe. They’ve released a slew of interesting tapes this year, ranging from electronic and industrial to ambient and noise. One album that struck a nerve with me was LA-based musician Alexandra Atnif’s Seekers of the Void, which was shared on her bandcamp a good while back, but has now been remastered and committed to tape. It features 13 tracks of dark experimental electronics with an industrial slant. Just check out the titles, “Mating Rituals of the Untermensch” is perhaps the height of dystopianism here.
