Como la piel is something as unusual as a modern bossanova masterpiece from Catalan mother and daughter duo Rita Payés and Elisabeth Roma. Rita Payés Roma is a trombone player and guitarist who has played in several jazz groups, releasing her first album at the age of 16. She started collaborating musically with her mother for their 2019 self-released album Imagina, which featured interpretations of classics by Brazilian, Argentinian, Cuban and American composers. The follow up came out last week and includes 11 exquisite tracks, again blending bossa and jazz but this time they are all original compositions. The album is available on cd from artist.
