The Viennese duo Privat consists of Robert Pawliczek (Bobby Would and Heavy Metal) and Robert Schwarz. They’ve already made an appearance on the Rosa Nebel-curated tape we wrote about recently, and in a month’s time their first album Ein Gedächtnis Rollt Sich Auf Der Zunge Aus is to be released by Alter. You can check out the video for “Unterhaltung” and the bleak 6 minutes of “Das Parkett” is streaming on bandcamp. This 11-track LP might be one of the finest coldwave-adjacent releases of the spring.
