The great Leipzig-based band Maraudeur originally began in Switzerland, as the lofi side project of Lise from The Staches. In 2017, by then a full band, they released their first full-length on Paris label Bruit Direct Disques. Four years later, they are back with Puissance 4, which is also their fourth record ever. They’ve recorded and released it themselves, in true DIY fashion, and it sounds all the better for it. Probably one of the best post-punk records of the year so far? It came out two months and is still available from the band.
