Flowertown is a new San Francisco duo made up of Karina Gill of Cindy and Michael Ramos of Tony Jay. They released a couple of cassettes last year, which are now being compiled into a self-titled LP coming out on Mt.St.Mtn. in June. The 12 tracks are heavily indebted to the work of Galaxie 500, whose spirit is present in these lo-fi recordings complete with tape hiss. Two of the tracks are on preview on bandcamp right now.
