Checking in with Dirtnap Records, I found that they’d recently released what is the second album from Milwaukee punks Fox Face. It’s been four years since their last album but they sound as vital as ever on End of Man. The group, that’s led by vocalists and guitarists Lindsay DeGroot and Lydia Washechek have a similar sound to e.g. The Flytraps but also hark back to the sound of forgotten greats like The Splinters or Lysol. Not surprising perhaps, since Lindsay and Lydia first got together making music in 2009. The 12 tracks on the album have a dystopian outlook, with a slight tinge of occult rock in their sound.
