Yesterday we wrote about Belgian musician Victor De Roo’s new project De Nooit Moede, but he’s also been working on another project together with Rachel Sassi. This is the latest in a series of different collaborations that began with De Roo’s debut EP Nachtdichter in 2019. Those four tracks were accompanied by poems from Alex Deforce. Last year two tracks featuring Meetsystem appeared, one of which came out on the revived Kontakt Group. Last week a new single appeared on Kontakt, called “Paysages Tristes”, with words by Paul Verlaine interpreted by Rachel Sassi. Hear them talk about and perform some of it in this video from 50LAB.
