Actually when we mentioned the Belgian label Kontakt recently, I didn’t know that were releasing music again. Starting a few months ago, with the debut from De Nooit Moede, they’ve put out some great stuff. De Nooit Moede is a coldwave group led by songwriter and producer Victor De Roo, who released a solo EP on Knekelhuis a couple of years ago. His new project is a Flemish language gloomy pop band, inspired by the Belgian and Dutch DIY scene of the early 80s. I love the typography on the cover, created by Emile De Geyndt.
