Robert Pawliczek who runs Quality Music and Die Plattenfirma has just released a new album as Bobby Would, his side project to Heavy Metal. The first Bobby Would album came out in 2018 on the esteemed Low Company. With World Wide World he returns to the label and delivers 10 tracks of gloomy jangle and post-punk. It sounds a bit like US duo The Knit Separates and perhaps Dan Treacy in a psychedelic state of mind. Most of the songs drag along sluggishly with the guitar center stage and the vocals lying on top like a wet blanket.
