Raw Culture, the label run by Assymetrical from Italy, has a brilliant compilation series called Raw Culture’s Pushers that usually comes out once a year. There’s yet to be a 2021 release so here’s a push for last year’s excellent 18 track compilation that caused me to discover Urexboyfriend from Lithuania and Egzotikka from London. It’s a wide-ranging release soundwise, from “ambient to electro” and including faves like NGHTLY, Raw Ambassador, Anna Funk Damage and Anatolian Weapons. Closing out the release is a track from Cobret Voltaire (who are Asymmetrical and LDWG).
