Adele Pickvance is an Australian-via-England musician who used to play bass with the reformed Go-Betweens of the 90s. She has also played with McLennan and Forster individually and does the Brighten the Corners show on 4zzz radio. That was how she met the other two members that make up her new band Adele & the Chandeliers. Their first album First Date got a proper vinyl release in December, thanks to Spanish label Pretty Olivia who have previously released the retrospective of legendary Australian group The Rainyard. Across 10 tracks we get quirky post-punk that channels everything from The Buzzcocks to new wave.
