Tim Gane from Stereolab has a new side project, together with Jeremy Novak from 90s post-rock outfit Dymaxion. The group were often compared to Stereolab and even released an EP on their label Duophonic. The Duophonic Super 45s label was revived last year for a release from Swedish artist Astrel K and now the debut from Ghost Power. The “Asteroid Witch” 45 came out in December and sold out quickly. The a-side is groove-based instrumentals with accidental electronics. “Inchwork” features more guitar and synthesizers to set up its eerie mood.
