Paula Tape is one of the central people in the Italian electronic music scene these days if you ask me. As label boss of Tempo Dischi and host of the Astral Jam radio show on Worldwide FM, she has dedicated herself to uncovering sounds from far and wide. Just check out her recent show for Beats In Space. Tape, originally from Chile, has also sparingly been producing her own stuff with several compilation appearances last year, most notably perhaps on the Rhythm Section INTL 5-year anniversary release Shouts. Her collab with Iñigo Vontier for Ransom Note was equally fine.
