LÂLKA is an Australian artist who calls her music glitch pop, taking inspiration from Charlie XCX and Grimes. Her first single actually appeared back in 2017, but she came into her own on the 2019 single “Bang Bang”. The Brisbane artist has recently announced a self-released ‘debut’ EP, called The Way Music Looks to be released in March, signalling a new beginning. The first single “Atomic Blonde” appeared recently, followed by “Angel/Jezebel” which feels like an answer song to Frankie Laine’s classic “Jezebel” updated to the 2020s.
