Russian garage-punks Futurat have returned with a new cassette and just like with Reality Emulation from 2019, it’s out on an Australian label. Under Heat Records is the bedroom label who have previously worked with Gee Tee, Benzin and Traffik Island – now bringing you the ferocious fuzz of Incinerat. This 6 track EP takes the best of Ty Segall and marries it to the saturated 90s sound of let’s say Siamese Dream. All of it is in Russian this time, so don’t ask me what the lyrics are about, but Futurat sound like they mean it. The drumming especially, is just mental.
