Brooklyn label BANK released their very first compilation back in the summer for Juneteenth. Don’t Turn Your Back On Love was an impressive set of 12 tracks from the likes of E-Saggila, Nick Klein (whose 2020 album for iDEAL was amazing), Dreams from LA (their Pinkman mini-album is already a classic), and Brooklyn mate DJ Sledgehammer (Pain Records head). Many of the other artists have had records out on BANK in the past as well, so this compilation serves as a great introduction to the label’s decidedly dark aesthetic as well.
