Toronto’s Badge Époque Ensemble very recently released their second album Self Help, but are returning already next week with the instrumental Future, Past & Present on Telephone Explosion. Most of the six tunes on LP have previously featured different guest vocalists and appeared on different releases from the band. Here they create a new unity that highlights the band’s interplay, on tracks like “Unity” and “Just Space For Light” from their most recent record. It might not be an essential release, but a great way to hear these sounds in a new context.
